Introduction & Fees

Focuses on developing songwriting and musical performance skills
Vocalists and musicians all create their own original songs during the program, and are introduced to the professional workflow of music production
All students perform an original song that they’ve written and arranged at the end of camp during our Final Showcase
All genres of music are welcome in the program, and no prior writing experience is necessary
Field trips to see live music and local hallmarks of the music industry are planned

Fee: $22000 HKD/week, including:

20+ hours minimum acting tuition / week
extracurricular activities
night time social activities
1 day of excursions
school boarding
3 meals
study materials

$500 HKD application fee for:

Completion of all registration forms required by the New York University
Completion of all forms required by the government of home and host country (additional fees as per home country for issuance of USA visa if your passport carrying country is not visa fee)
Issuance of school letter, enrollment letter, place of accommodation letter, and confirmation of care of minor letter in the USA as required by the Immigration of the USA

Formal end of summer graduation party
Boarding school with 24 hours live-in staff supervision
Accommodated in comfortable single or twin rooms of same gender
Dedicated team of program directors and counsellors to ensure that students are looked after pastorally, culturally and socially during their programme 24 hours a day

Tuition & Activities

Singer / Songwriter -
The Singer/Songwriter intensive provides development in the discipline of popular music. Instruction consists of group workshops and individual coaching in melody, harmony, arranging, lyric writing, and stage presence. Each student will have the opportunity to write and arrange an original song to be performed live
House Band -
Students who would like to focus on playing and not singing can apply and become part of the House Band, which will play with the other students on their original songs during recording sessions and live performances. The House Band collaborates individually with the many singer/songwriters to refine, record and perform several original songs. Band members gain experience arranging and performing in different genres of music
Instrument Notes -
Acoustic pianos will be provided.
A Drum Set will be provided.
House amplifier and mics will be provided.
Note: Guitars, basses, keyboards and additional amplifiers will not be provided. Students are welcome to bring their own set that will be kept in a securely locked studio
